Mood: Tired Listening To: Nothing.. YET.. TOP GEAR ON PAUSEE XDAnyways, it's been a crazy week for me. Since last Saturday, I was in Kuala Lumpur, celebrating my uncle's silver wedding anniversary. It was celebrated in some place in town called the Roadhouse Grill? Ampang area, if I'm not mistaken. Was made the photographer for the night.. Messed around with a Nikon D70s.. Talk about temptations, I want one too :( The shutter speed.. Mmm.. Hard to look for a low priced camera with quick shutter speed like Yung Shen's camera.. Lol Then I came back to Penang on Sunday night, traveled down to Port Dickson, visited my dad over there and .. well, did something I never did of for a very long time.. Which is to get away from stress. Was there on the right time too. Not too many tourists hogging up the resort, saw what happens if the current changes on the sea, the opening of the new pet farm.. etc. Went canoe-ing, karaoke-ing, working out at the gym (original plan failed. LOL) and well, pigged out. Nothing much happened. Just took a shitload of pictures with my dad's Nikon S6.. Nothing special with the camera except for picture quality.. Then again, the S6 comes with 6.0megapixel, so pictures are pretty much clear if focused properly... Just worked a little bit on the macro shots and nothing else.. Saw a couple of weird things throughout my stay in Port Dickson. A shitload of dusky leaf monkeys ( pretty cute, but aggressive mother fuckers), some cross breed between a monkey and a sexy assed baboon, horny guinea pigs, and birds having sex while I was having lunch. Managed to play 2 times in the bar with some Filipino friends.. I didn't like this line up.. A little bit too inexperienced for hotel music because they were formerly from rock bands themselves, so I can't pretty much blame them. I understand their situation.. Lol Now I'm back in Penang.. and, well, come classes and results :( Snippets:

*burp*
| | Borrowed my dad's Nikon S6.. Then again, I apologise for the night shots.. You know Nikon cameras with their unbelievable hasty shutter speed (except for DSLRs)..
Took some shots of stuff in the hotel, and the newly done Pet Farm.. Woooo..
Was there for 5 days, 4 nights since the 25th of May.. |
Mood: Pissed OffListening To: WoW.. Some Hip Hop song..most probably Gangstars. LolReason why I'm pissed off? Well, you see, I went into my room to get my handphone, and I used the lazy way. Not realising someone has been messing around with my CD collection, and a red CD got stuck onto my palm. By accident, I shoved it down the great bed divider where I've lost a couple of Pokemon cards, RM 50, my bank book and now, my one and only D'Cuzzy Hokkienstein CD :( ... Damn it. Who the hell was in my room messing around with my stuff? Numbpricks -_- I can't get it back T.T Anyways, the whole KL trip was not that bad. Except that I skipped 3 classes last night just to come back for free by hitching a ride with my future roommates XD I didn't get to meet up with them as planned on the first day, so I spent it with my dad instead since he was eager to meet up. As I arrived in O'Glorious Pudu, I was being welcomed by a single and solo welcoming committee. How.. touching, if only it touched me. I saw this zipping right past my right side while waiting in front of Pudu's KFC.. Talk about Worms Armegaddon.
 -_-
Yeah. So then, my dad picked me up, and we headed off to Sungai Wang. I needed to get some extra cash, so that's why we needed to meet up. But then again, as we got to Sungai Wang, we were in front of KFC and he was like.. "Jean Louis, I've got the biggest joke for you now." "And that would be ..?" "I... think I left my wallet, cards, cash and master keys back in Port Dickson." O_O So, that's why I ended up in paradise when I least expected to. Lol. And since a certain father's queen wasn't around to be supervised, he wasn't behind the steering wheel from Kuala Lumpur to Port Dickson XD XD XD XD XD 2.4v madness.. Prefer it compared to the 2.0e here in PG.. Steering isn't that light like the bloody 2.0, braking isn't that sensitive.. I think they patched up that small little glitch after releasing the first few batches of the 5th generation of the Camry? Lol. One thing's for sure. Was having fun by setting the maximum speed limit for cruising without using my legs.. I was like.. "Look dad! No legs and I'm slowing the car down by 50kmph" XD XD XD XD XD And yeah, the 5th gear made this Camry the car became a less prancing horse at high speeds.. unlike the 2.0e.. Now that's an acceptable car to drive since the brakes aren't as screwed up as the previous similar modelled generations Toyota QC problem again. Lol. Itchy fingers. Anyways, driving to PD was fun. Different experience compared to the normal straight highway from Penang to Autocity/Simpang Ampat area. Never really managed to test high speeds.. But nevermind. Lol So after an hour's drive, was back in Port Dickson again.

After settling down, we decided to go to the gym, but made a pit stop at the pet farm. Wanted to see the cute animals there..

Then yeah, chilled out at the other beach further away from the room I was staying in..

Mmmm. I <3 Port Dickson Pampered myself with a nice dinner before enjoying the whole night off, and getting prepared for another illegal drive back to KL. Slept the whole night off and woke up with a swollen eye. Drove back to Kuala Lumpur and the 2nd day was the craziest one among the lot. Labour's Day. I expected it to be jammed packed at the LRT station, but this was what I saw at Dang Wangi. It was like, playing a good game of Resident Evil series on the PSX: And the ticket counter was even more scarier. I could hear my own footsteps echo-ing back to me O_O My future roommates, staying at Palm Springs @ Kota Damansara ( now realising that it isn't a small place), I had to make way from Bukit Bintang, to Kelana Jaya, got pissed off while waiting for the shuttle bus, and took a RM7.40 taxi to the apartments. Holy shit, was it big. 7 x 20 stories apartments, accessable to mini mart, gym, mamak shop, cafe, 7 swimming pools, 2 badminton and tennis courts (I think), dobi area, and many more. I've never seen an apartment lot THIS big, and high secured. Gah. I kinda got lazy to travel back to Bukit Bintang at night, so I left in the evening to grab my whole luggage trolley bag, hiked down the Bukit Ceylon hill, got to the Bukit Bintang Monorail, took to Bukit Nanas, interchange to Dang Wangi, headed to Kelana Jaya, and back to Palm Springs. I looked like a fool with that luggage load. Lol. Spent a few nights there, hung out at 1Utama, The Curve, SS2 area (???), and that was just about it. Getting to know the future-roommates even better, got bored to death, shared jokes and ... Well, getting used to the semi-manual washing machine. Here's what happens if you leave laundry to college students who never did their laundry or follow specific material instructions: Notice the shirt on the right and the sleeveless on the left. Both of them are M-sized and..well.. I put the clothes in the dryer too long, and it turned my shirt into a new night gown. Great. Well, that's about it. We left at 5.30pm, got onto the highways like around about 6.15pm and arrived back in Penang at 9.30pm last night. Since my roommates were a bunch of people who didn't like to drive.. ... But then again, what fun were the highways when you were stuck with a Kembara? :( That's it from me. Time to get prepared for the Disted college performance thingy that's going to take place later at .. I don't know what time. I'm going to go pick up my new specs first. Wheeee... 3-quarter frame XD Oh. It feels great to be back in Penang. I never tasted such horrible food at such expensive rates before -_-
Mood: Blurred Listening To: Unk1 Final Version.mp3Finally, the beat doesn't screw up! Sweet joy, and this time, it's FINALLY completed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
I was supposed to come back on the 11th of December, but if you read my journal entry I posted in Schizzow's place, I screwed up on the tickets. 50% my fault, I admit, and the other 50% would be the counter's fault. -_- Anyways, what's over, is over. Mum is dead pissed, father was dead glad that we were spending another night in KL since he doesn't see us so often, so on and so forth. To clarify things, the RM1959.00 was to repair the KL's Toyota Camry 2.4v's bumper. I parked it, sideways in, and well, some asshole rammed the car from the back, leaving a huge dent and a couple of scratches, and just ran off while we were having dinner. Now, my dad was particular about the car, so... WHATEVER. Oh. And the KL taxi drivers are nuts. I wanted to get back to my place with a taxi from Sungai Wang, which is a 15 minute walk, simply because it was raining. But that idea changed when I found out the price was RM50.00. Goddamn. And I'm never travelling with my mum ever again. She brings a shitload of luggages and many more on the bus. This was " our" luggage on the trip back to Penang from KL. The same amount of stuff, but even more from Penang to KL. -__________-
I only had three bags. And well, my brother took his time to pick us up from the bus terminal here at Sungai Nibong, and I'm glad he did although I was shit tired because I only had 1 hour of sleep earlier that morning. Jesus wished me Merry Christmas as I found this on the floor. Happy birthday, Edmund!
Yeah, the phone was given to Edmund. Lalala. I was kind enough to wait for 5 or 10 minutes, but I didn't see anyone who wanted it back, so.. Finders' keepers. Loosers' weepers!Anyways, the KL trip was an average one. Good times, bad times, and emo times. Consider it as properly balanced. This is what I wrote on the night right before I was about to come back. It's going to be long, and .. Shitty.
10th December 2006, 11:27pm
Finally, the beat I
have been talking about, is completed.
The beat known as Unk1 in my previous journals, of course. Ever since I got to KL, I have been working
on the beat based on Graveyard shifts.
That means when it’s midnight, I start work, and
I end work whenever the sun rises.
It’s true enough,
that I do stop when the sun rises.
In fact, I’ve been sleeping at 6 or 7am in the morning daily, and waking
up at 2pm or so, in the afternoons. I
finally got a refreshing sleep after the first night. I slept at 6.30am, and woke up at 4pm. Not only I’ve been
missing out breakfast and lunch, but I’ve also been missing out on the times to
actually go around meeting people and shopping. Lucky thing that I
didn’t manage to go shopping as I’m already broke. The only shopping I ever did was just to get
myself 3 PS2 games to bore myself out when I’m down in Port Dickson, soon.
Anyways, that was
what I wrote right after I completed the beat (which I didn't, by the way. I only completed the beat today at 13 December).
This KL trip has been a rather progressive one. I’ve seen, I’ve learnt, and I’ve accomplished
some things. This journal will be
seperated into several sections as followed:
Sights: Cars Traffic compared toPenang
Music: The Beat Recording Arts –
Mixing
Events: Family Dinner The Trip So Far..
Sights - Cars During this trip,
I’ve seen cars that Penang seldom offers to the eye. I’ve seen a couple of Porches running around
the town. Serious facelifts to local
cars to look like their original manufacturer’s products – the Mitsubishi
Lancer Evolution __. I guess they’re
more serious than the people in Penang. I gotta admit, some do look nice, and some
are just plain scary. Not only I’ve seen
a couple of Porches, but I finally get to see a damn Ferrari on the roads! Woo hoo!
But I pity the driver though. It
has to be tough driving such a monsterous vehicle in a city full of nothing,
but traffic jams. Lots of petrol
required, and since Ferraris runs only on Shell V Power..
*Salutes*
Nothing much
here. Just saw a couple of exotic cars,
and a new one to add to my car dictionary when it comes to Toyota. The Toyota Mark X.. It looks
like a Camry, but it isn’t at all. Odd car by the way.
Oh! And I saw a few Skylines. Not the new ones, but the old ones. Sweetness.
Genuine Skylines! Unlike the
famous Put-Line we notice here in Penang.
Since I’ve been
running on a weird Graveyard Schedule, I haven’t had the time to actually
travel to PJ to go test driving Alfa Romeos.. Or to visit that Lamborghini
showroom I’ve heard? I don’t know. Not a KL person.
I know, I
know. All of you would say that it’s a
normal thing to see these sort of cars in KL.
Lay it off, alright? I never
bothered about cars until this year, so to me, it’s like walking on your damn
two feet for the very first time when you’re still a baby.
Sights – Traffic
compared to Penang Well, all I can say
is that the traffic here is HORRIBLE, compared to Penang. So many indecisive and arrogant drivers here
in KL. And the traffic lights? Speak no more. I’ve got a KL-Traffic Light phobia now. The red light shines just about 75% more than
the green light O.O
But the roads here
are great. Not so bumpy, it really
spares the lifespan of the shock absorbers and suspension in every car. Penang? Gah. But then again, I stayed in Bukit Bintang area, so it's usually packed. -_-
Music – The Beat.
Finally, the beat
I’ve been working on for Anonymous is completed. I only had the first verse up and running
since one week before my finals – which was 2 or 3 weeks ago. This trip has been a good one as I finally
had time to spend for myself. I
got a nice chorus hooked up, but faced some problems as I received wrong
instructions from Anonymous. I
had to cut, and re-do the chorus and left it “incomplete”. It doesn’t sound incomplete, but it is
to me. Have to ignore that fact.
As stated during
the beginning of the journal, I have been working based on Graveyard shifts. In fact, when I first arrived in KL at 4am in the morning, I switched on my mum’s laptop, and started
off. I used 2 hours to plan and do
everything via Reason. I slept at 6.30am since my dad woke up already. My mum has been working under Tourism
Malaysia and in the roadshow that they held at KL Sentral. Every time she works, she brings the laptop
with her, so I do not have an option but to wait for her to finish work, then I
can start mine. I would usually start
somewhere after midnight after a nice bath.
I’d spend my
afternoons playing the guitar, or listening to music through the Zen Neeon my
brother and his friends got for me during my birthday, either getting
inspirations OR learning more styles and feels.
I guess you can say
that I spend an average of 6 hours per night since I got to KL, just mixing,
composing and arranging the song. You
can also say that I’ve put most of my spirit into the song, and I’m finally
done! A song that is not entirely my
field and feel – completed. I guess
composition is also another challenge to me as a musician. Composing something you’re not really capable
of, y’know?
Now, I shall wait
until the recording day, to see if everything goes well. Hope it really does!
Music – Recording
Arts: Mixing
They say that art
comes in many forms. Mainly through
pictures, but some never see music as art.
Well, I’m sure most of you know that music is also a form of art. But not only music, the way it being mixed, IS
art by itself. It’s up to the Sound
Engineer to think which instrument should be louder than which during some
parts of the song. It’s also up to the
Sound Engineer to think which instrument should be panned to the left or right
speaker to achieve that certain melodious feel, so on and so forth.
In the bus from Penang to KL, I had my
mp3 player on all the time, and studied a little bit about mixing. I finally understand how a heavy rock/heavy
metal song should be recorded and mixed.
Including solo instrumental artists like Steve Vai or Joe Satriani, and
other genres. Pop, Rock, Classical
instrumental, etc. I’ve studied and
learnt the secrets of mixing to make it sound like that genre. I believe that it’s all about mixing when it
comes to seperating the music genres.
Which leads to the
topic, where my father asked me about my vision of life. I told him that either that I’ll end up in Australia, or Boston. Why Boston? Simple.
Berklee’s Music College. It’s expensive, I know, but it’s also my
vision and dream to achieve a degree related to music. And from what I’ve learnt so far, I might get
a degree in Recording Arts, just like Wormy?
I do enjoy mixing songs, but I’ve got a lot to learn, and a long way to
go. I’m not entirely good in mixing
songs, anyways. Never had projects to
work on – also a reason why I want to re-do my recordings.. To practice and
learn.
Or maybe get a
degree in Arrangements. Composing is one
thing, and arrangements of instruments is another. As I learn more through songs, I guess you
can say that I’ve learnt that music is EXTREMELY wide.
Events – Family Reunion This would be the
main reason for my KL trip this time. To
attend a Christmas dinner done by my relatives the right way. Trust me.
Turkeys, and all that good
junk. Besides that, they pulled off a
Christmas gathering among The Siberts on the 2nd Advent Sunday. I never knew anything about that, but
whatever it is, it’s still a joyful Christmas dinner!
I guess I mainly
messed with my uncle’s company’s newly purchased camera which costed them RM
6,000++? It’s a Nikon D70S. It uses a memory card to store taken
pictures, and it’s not a digital camera.
I don’t know anything about cameras, but I really had fun in taking
close-up shots. To some of us, we know
them as Macro Shots.
It’s a semi
digital/analogue camera as you can manually set the focusing of the camera to
focus on certain objects (Macro shots) or set it to auto-focus like any
other digital camera. Y’know, when we’re
all filthy rich, I’ll settle down with a camera similar to that instead of a
digital camera. Hohoho.
Family reunions are
fun. I managed to meet up with one of my
cousins and talked about nonsense. All
my uncles were fun to talk with, and one of them is getting a BMW 535i. My dad told me not to tell anyone, but you
wouldn’t know which uncle is getting that car now, would you? So it’s practically safe. Lol.
Besides, this uncle is not based in Penang, so I’m not afraid
of anything. Lalala.
Events – The Trip
So Far..
Overall, this trip
was good. Learnt more things about
music, got myself a new guitar, saw many new things, and well, finally got the
vacation that I longed for. Away from
home, away from friends, away from the Internet, and away from everything that
distracts my musical self. Nothing but work,
music and mixing. Isolation? Most probably. I enjoyed it, although it kinda sucks to know
that there are no reliable mamak shops around the area I stayed. You wouldn’t wanna know how tough it was to
work 6 hours straight without breaks on an empty stomach
!%&!*$&!@$*!&%$.
Well, that's about it from me. Every time I get to a vacation, I always face one problem. And that's catching up with Multiply. Since I've got nothing else better to do, and my beat is already done to be sent (again), I shall check out some stuff and also listen to the beat at the same time to realise any mistakes.. Hmmm.
Trying not to be emo, and it's going grreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat!
Finally got enough sleep after my trip from KL, my mood improved due to glorious Roti Hong Kong, and I shall.. Uh.. Look for something progressive to do soon enough. WHEEEE!
Christmas!!!
Mood: Full. I feel like shitting
Listening To: M2M - Mirror
I went down to KL with RM 600 > x > RM 650 and besides Burger
King, McDs, Mamak and everything else, these are the stuff I got.
Firstly, would be the main reason why I went to KL for. The
Pin-Design-imitator thingy.
This is so not me.
That's more I like it :D
Then, we have the side-quest. The one where I was just joking about; Looking for The Alphabet of Manliness. But to my suprise:
Caryn (the cute chick on the right, holding both of the books I bought (the other is Joe Satriani Guitar Secrets), and Schizzow, with a clear sign that says " Fuck you, Jean. They have the book right in KL." <3 <3 <3
THE ALPHABET OF MANLINESS IS MINE! FINALLY!
But it hasn't laid on my room yet because it's with Paul right now. But, it's going to be with Guo Qiang soon enough :'(.
Then, we have Guitar Accessories. Which guitarist would not visit the almighty Bentley's Music?
I managed to get a new guitar strap, with its own locking system,
located on each side, plus a padding that reduces slight pain when I
play the guitar, while standing. It's plastic, and there are some
disadvantages to the locking systems. Main disadvantage?
Simple: You have to take the strap off everytime you don't play, or the
rubber marks (that protects the guitar's finish due to the plastic
locks) to stick on your guitar. It'll be a matter of months that
I'll be lazy to do this, and start crying over the rubber spots left by
the strap.
Also, restock on Steve Vai's Sigature Series Picks. Bought three
browns, greens and pinks. Bought 4 for the white rubber grip with
golden imprints.
I was looking for these picks for 3 years already, since we first started Dark Room (later on, known as Dysnomia)
Disadvantage: Rubber grip wears off and you'll start crying regarding the fading Steve Vai Signature.
This is the Bullet-free stapler.
It doesn't use staplers. And pretty handy for a quick temporary compilation.
But it only works on 3 ~ 4 (recommended 3) papers. I just bought
this for the heck of it. As a gift. TO MYSELF, thank you.
And these DCSHOECOUSA would be my replacement, until it gets stolen like the previous shoe, which everybody remembered me by because it was rather striking. <3
Last but not least..
Made a trip to KLCC's Tower Records - The most disrespectful music shop in the universe.
Shawn, Cristal and I stumbled upon 5 copies (and maybe even more) of Hokkienstein for sale. If you didn't notice the background cart that said 1 VCD For RM1, here's a little close up on the blue tag.
-________________-
Anyways, I have 3 other shirts that I purchased, but I believe I'll save that for impromptu reactions. :)
.... -_-. I'm done. KL was dope. And all these costed more than 500 Ringgit. -_-
Anyways, a big shoutout to Schizzow and Caryn for
my enjoyable stay in KL! Thanks a bunch, you two. Schizzow
for accommodation and dragging me to college when I was scared like
chicken shit, and Caryn for showing me around KL and getting more items
than ever. Lol
Mood: Full, and sleepyListening To: Jason's Computer FanSo,
tonight's the last night I'm spending here in KL, and in this apratment
unit. It's kinda fun to rent a spot, get to know your roomies, and
splitting the bills together. I kinda enjoy this life, although some
doesn't wish for it as they prefer their families a lot more than
living life alone. Anyways, here are a couple of shoutouts to the people who made my KL trip a rather unique, and interesting one. *sighs*. I can't believe I have to put his name first as his ego will expand till it explodes at a certain level.. But..
- Schizzow
- For lending me a roof to live under for 4 days (tomorrow's the 5th)
and 4 nights. And also, giving me directions for the first day for me
(which was yesterday, before going to Maison), travelling around KL
alone via LRT.
- Caryn Foo Poh Yuen @ Best JieJie In The Universe
- For sacrificing your time when you can spend it on assignments to be
with me, and showing me around KL, and getting good items at good
rates. Gosh. Whatever I write here would be inferior as I can never
express my gratitude in thanking you!
Without you, I wouldn't have gotten The Alphabet of Manliness, The Pin Point Impression that I've been looking for, my New DCShoeCoUSA shoes (to replace my old stolen ones), an additional oh-so-hard-to-get-in-PG punchline shirt, and an additional pair of cute boxers.
I don't know. Besides Schizzow, most of my time spent would be with you. x).. Thank you, once again for showing me around KL. Guahahahaha..
Love JieJie to bits x)
- Tidurmanliness and TARC - Crazy shitass TARC is just crazy
for having so many people there. Gah. It's been great meeting people,
and meeting so many retards. First would be the second reason why I
came down to KL for - to watch Orang Terkenal yang Cacat with my very own eyes.
- Jason - For going online with his PC. I think he noticed.
Oh well, and all the people who works in shopping malls who made me burn a hole in my wallet on spending it on gifts.. for myself, thank you.. Anyways, I will be leaving KL at 10pm or 10.30pm. I don't know when, but I'll check tomorrow. Toodles, KL x') Guahahahahaha... The Alphabet of Manliness... x)
Mood: Tired Listening To: Jason's cranky fan. Gah
Booya.
Woke up at 9.45am and I was wondering how was I going to make it for
Schizzow's class.. or whatever it is, just to keep me entertained till
4pm with Caryn and Schizzow having classes .. T.T.. So, I followed
Caryn for her English class from 11 - 12pm.. Then lunch with Schizzow,
and entered class with Schizzow.. some class that had this presentation
thing and I managed to see Celebrity Retard in action! Gosh. He has shocked me beyond all reasons and I'm speechless or out of words to write about him.. Gah. T.T..
Met
Tidurman and two of Yung Shen's classmates today.. One of them were Ah
Wang, and I couldn't remember the other one.. The one who plucked his
own goatee with 2 of them 20 sen coins in schizzow's photo album..
Guahahah.. a crazy bunch..
Tidurman is damn dope la. I don't even know how to explain him also..guahahahaha..
Anyways, after that, met up with Caryn again and headed straight to KLCC.. To this bookshop that goes by the name of Kinokuniya.. And was looking around the Comic section, the Humour section and the Music
section (where I got this neat Joe Satriani 41 Private lessons
throughout a couple of years of his experience for RM41... Gah), and
well, tried to look for The Alphabet of Manliness.
Of course, I believed it was impossible to look for that book in
Malaysia. Until Caryn introduced me to this neat computer, to check out
the total books and all they sold in the bookshop.
I typed in
the full details (title and author) and well.. It came back with
positive results! Quickly, me and Caryn (more to me), dashed to the
counter and asked for the location.. Which was under the humour section.
Skipped
all the troubles in looking for the book, thanks to Caryn for dumping
the job on the staffs who worked there.. Lol. They managed to get a
couple of The Alphabet of Manliness from their own stock, and in my hands, I held the best book in the universe.
x')
It has entered my collection, that I just started because of one book.. Muahahahaha.
And
did you know that KL's Tower Records sucks because they sell D'Cuzzy's
album for only RM1? I have pictures, will post them up soon.. -_-...
Mood: Stimmed Listening To: Caryn
So, I'm here, using Jason's computer. And in one night, I have managed to post up two one journal; which was Caryn PY's journal. Wack sial.
Anyways, I arrived in KL like, 7 hours ago. Exactly
7 hours ago. I left Penang at 12.30pm, and arrived in Kuala Lumpur at
6.30pm, where I left my dad to wait in the car for more than an hour.
Gah.
We made a de-tour to Kuala Kota Bharu, some ulu place nearby Rawang,
and the bus driver reported his accident which involved the bus. Some
official traffic warden came up to us and apologized for taking 15
minutes. But of course, that wasn't the only thing that stalled us. The
de-tour stalled us for an hour. Gah. We toured from KKB, then to
Rawang, then exited Rawang to KL. And the funniest thing I ever came
across today while travelling would be that I felt I was in a time
machine; or stuck in The Axis of Time. Where objects move, but not the time T.T.
Because,
I read the signboards after we left KKB, which said 33km left to KL. As
we proceeded through the journey, it said 57km. Gah. then after that,
70++km. Gah. Then it came up to 107km . @_@.
I don't know what
was going on, but the increasing interger made me think that the
journey was never going to end. Until we exited the Rawang toll and saw a rather satisfying distance reading to KL, which was 33km.
So
satisfying until I decided to drown myself with music, after I saw the
next signboard which showed 33km, 5 minutes after the first signboard
after the Rawang Toll. Great
And I was so happy when we
were stuck in the traffic jam. It was the sign of KL-ness. Met up with
my father in Pudu's KFC and had something to eat, after my ass was
nullified by the trip T.T
Oh. And I guess I had a taste of KL.
Earlier on, before I met my dad, he encountered this beggar, who's face
was so thick, not even a speeding bullet could penetrate it. I mean,
the beggar was hungry, it begged, and well, he nearly stole my dad's
chicken and drinks. What a way to welcome my dad from Port Dickson. Lol.
Later
on, he was keeping his eye on us, and well, he signalled me to share
some food with him; but I already finished up whatever I had in the
first place.
.. Which didn't stop him because he went straight to my place and check for scraps of KFC, mashed potato, and salad.
One word: Crazy. I've never seen anyone like that before in my whole life. And this has made me a little bit more careful for my trip to KL. Gah.
The next guy who tries to snag my food, especially anything from Burger King, will receive The Cock Punch or The Head Butt To The Ovaries without hesitation.
Hi everyone x)
Mood: TiredListening To: Glacius - Season of HeartbreaksLet me double, triple and quad-check my checklist, about what to bring down: - Shirts - 8 sets (for the moment)

- Pants
- 1 long, one 3-quarter pants. Not bringing my usual rugged 3 quarters
because that has shallow pockets; easy target for pick pockets in KL.

Mood: TiredListening To: Glacius - Season of HeartbreaksOne more day, until I'll be pissed bored in the bus, heading to KL.. Well, whatever it is, I'm looking forward to the trip because it's my first time travelling alone to KL. Of course, not staying in KL alone, thanks to Schizzow. Gonna meet up with a lot of KL friends. And also be an NS counsellour (SP?) to Shawn, Cristal and Schizzow. T.T On the meantime, I just found out last night about the almighty Telur Cheese Bawang they sell at Raffe's. Great. I'm going to miss that *sobs* Oh yeah, and all the outings with Paul and Guo Qiang. Lol. Anyways, Paul's computer's power supply kinda died on him, so that explains his missing replies and not being online on MSN. A very big thank you to the both of them for picking me out for ronda-ing.. Still rather unstable from time to time, but I just need to be accompanied and a shitload of laughter. Doesn't matter if I'm with my friends, or with Vanesa. As long as I'm able to keep my mind off things through mindless jokes and all, it's good enough. Well, special thanks to Paul Ang
mainly. I'm sorry for being a burden in your car and all whenever I bug
you to fetch me out.. T.T...On the same time, sorry, and thanks man
:).. Guo Qiang is just another crazy mo'fo who got picked for NS because he dissed NS people. Karma, biatch XD Oh. Apologies to Denise Peachybutt. I believe us staying there till 3 something would've got her to a little
bit of trouble 8-).. Woohahahahah.. Finally get to lepak around her
house. And it was tough looking for her place.. All of us kinda got
lost looking for so many lorongs. Gah. Reminds me of Kampung Melayu.. When I was trying to stop by at my NS friend's place. Gah. So many road names.. Jalan Pisang Kamu.. Jalan Pisang Tembok/tombok, Jalan Pisang Emas.. Jalan Pisang Nangka.. God. And thanks to that, I found Sunshine Farlim! Muahahahahah. I've
gotta start packing tonight, nothing much to pack though.. and change
my boxers. I kinda forgot to change them a few days ago, so I'll deal
with them until tonight is over. And no, they're not that dirty because
I wasn't horny enough to jizz in my own damn boxers. Toodles. Now waiting for my mum, who's currently AWOL, who made me skip out on church this morning. Gah!
Mood: Stimmed. Listening To: Glacius - Tears in HeavenNo, I am not hooked onto BSB's I Want It That Way in any way at all. This is just another one of those blogs where I would start cursing things that doesn't go my way at all. -_- Now, it would be regarding the KL trip. I
have discussed with my father regarding the trip, and although he's
going to Sydney, he said it's ok for me to go to KL for a total of 4 or
5 days. Besides, I'm dead bored at home. I might as well travel to KL
alone because I've got nothing else better to do in Penang. And the
haze is building up here, day after day -_-. My mum dared to suggest
that I should be there for only 2 to 3 days. Uh. What the hell can I do
in 2 to 3 days? Go there, kiss Schizzow's bed, and leave the next
morning? Screw you. Come on. Somehow, this would be my final time to be
free before college starts.
And once college kicks in, assignments will pile up and I won't be as
free as I am right now. Sacrificing 5 days from a total of 2 more weeks
isn't going to change me a bit. Oh wait, I know. If I leave,
nobody will accompany my mum to dinners and all that when she's back
from work? So what? Get over it. There're many things you can do, and
if you depend me in terms of being your company, I'm sorry. Truthfully,
I hate being around you. Too many vague jokes, pissing me off with
things that are not my fault/not related to me, and bugging me how I
should drive. You're Esther Goh on the roads, I'm Jean Louis on
the roads. You're 50+, I'm 17+. Believe me, we drive differently. And
the most important thing about driving would be that we get from point
A to point B without breaking any of the rules. The style we drive, is
different, so stfu about driving already. At least I didn't bang into
some mak cik when I was turning out from a corner, unlike you.Whatever
it is. I'm going to ignore all that
you're-only-allowed-to-go-there-for-3-days mumbo jumbo and stick to my
4/5 days plan, aight? x) I need a break away from her, man.. She's seriously getting on my nerves. Lol I
need RM 400. I think that should be enough for my trip to KL? Because,
2 years ago, I kinda blew RM 350 or RM400 ++ on the KL trip that Ah Hui
organised. Of course, I did go do a little shopping. But this time, I'm
going to get one thing I always wanted since I was a child.. Taken from Michelle Oh's KL Trip Photo Album.
Of
course, this one, the needles are a little big too wide. Does anyone
know where to get a standard one with small cute needles? It copies the
design you put onto that thing more accurately. Schizzow said that he
can take me anywhere to buy this. Of course, I know there are other
places, but since this was taken in Times Square, rather to go a place
where it's confirmed to have, right? Lol. Never mind, I'll see how
things goes.
KL yaw! I can't believe how I agreed with Schizzow to attend his lectures @ TARC. -_-
Mood: Stomach ache - No. Not PMS. I'm just full of gas tonight T_T
Listening To: Nothing yet. Didn't switch on my Windows Media Player playlist.
Talked to both my parents, and well, I've received the green light to go down to KL. Of course, my dad will be in Sydney on the 23 ~ 26th of this month, and I already asked him to look for The Alphabet of Manliness for me.. they might just sell it there! And I will be coordinating with Sara Tan Sze Yu
regarding this trip. She wants to go to KL next week, but on the
meantime, that's when she'll get her pay too. So, she's in a
financial fix? I'm not sure.
Anyways, I plan to go for a 4 or 5 days trip. Bottom line? I can go anytime next week (preferbly on Monday or Tuesday) and I have to touchdown in Penang by Friday
to be ahead of my own KDU registration schedule, which falls on next
Saturday/Sunday that will save up on RM200 on application fees.
:).
Slight change of plans for my Degree course. I will not
go to KL to further my studies; which is Professional
Accountings. They have approved the Penang branch to teach that
subject. So, everything will be done in Penang. And if all
goes well, I will receive a certificate from the Muroch University in
Australia. Woo hoo???...
So, that's just about it. Hoping to meet up with my cousins and a couple of KL people.. I don't have much friends there, but I do miss them.
No, I don't want to meet up with Schizzow because I'll be crashing in his place. Orgy baybeh.. XD
