Blog EntryHobby Shop Help..Jun 13, '07 4:11 AM
for everyone
Mood: Tired
Listening To: Nothing.. Yet.

I hate it when this happens.. Example:  You pass by a thousand and one sundry shops along the streets of Penang without realising it, and when you want to get a brush or a dustmop, your mind instantly turns blank and you will have no idea regarding the whereabouts of the sundry shop -_-

Mine would be hobby shops.  I know there are hobby shops around here in Penang, and some of them would be well hidden.  But I'm looking for hobby shops that not only sells Gundam models, properly painted mini figures, etc, but I'm looking for shops that sells car models collectibles.  Preferrably Maisto, or good quality die-cast metal.. Or anywhere that sells these sort of car models besides Toys R' Us @ Gurney Plaza..

If you want me to be specific, I'm looking for a nicely detailed Mini Cooper S, 1:18 scale, by the way.  But then again, it's been a while I've been collecting, so anything would do.  Also, I would appreciate information before Father's day..

Oh.  I'm also looking for that new Transformers Energon (I think?  Definitely not Armada) of Jazz that transforms into a Mazda RX-7 ..

.......................... I KNOW KL GOT A LOT LAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH.. T.T

Oh..And I would appreciate it if anybody would like to sponsor me a lifetime's supply of Peel Fresh's Blackcurrant Mix Fruit Juice with Aloe Vera pulps :D

Okay.  So here's the thing.  I only know how to use and kill a computer.  Of course, having a WoW freak under the roof isn't a bad thing as he's the one maintaining the computers.

But then again, when it comes to 32-bit graphics and 64-bit graphics, that's when I'll slit my wrists and die the next day.

So, I kind of checked the specs and requirements for both Reason 3.0 and Adobe Audition 1.5:

Adobe Audition 1.5

-- 400 MHz or faster processor (2 GHz or faster processor recommended)

-- Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional or Home Edition

-- 64 MB RAM (512 MB or more recommended)

-- 75 MB of available hard-disk space (700 MB recommended for installing optional audio clips)

-- 800 x 600 color display (1024 x 768 display recommended)

-- Stereo sound card (multitrack sound card recommended)

-- CD-ROM drive (a CD-RW drive is required for audio CD creation)

-- Microsoft DirectX 9.0 or later required for video import

-- Speakers or headphones recommended

-- Microphone (optional)

Reason 3.0
  • Intel Pentium III 600 MHz or better
  • 256 MB RAM
  • 2 GB free hard disk space
  • CD-ROM drive
  • Windows XP/2000 or later
  • Monitor with 800x600 pixels resolution or better
  • 16-bit windows compatible audio card, preferably with DirectX or ASIO drivers
  • Recommended: MIDI keyboard with built-in MIDI interface, or MIDI keyboard and MIDI interface

According to this link here, it says that both Audition 1.5 and Reason 3.0.4 works fine.  Best thing is that I forgot what version was my Reason.  I know it's a 3.0, but I'm unsure if it's a 3.0.4 or not..

Sheesh

And what's up with all of this 32-bit programmes?  I'm getting a little bit confused now.. It says that Adobe Photoshop 7.0 32-bit is compatible..And what the hell is that supposed to mean?  T.T

And.. Uh.. Does anybody have personal comments and views regarding Windows Vista?  Pros and Cons?  I know the GUI is totally different compared to Windows XP, ME, 2000, 98 and 95.. Anything regarding audio restrictions?  Lol

I feel like a dumbass now.  Lol

I've been considering, I've been thinking, and I've been dreaming. I was wondering if I should move to KL and continue my studies there? The exposure there is great, the traffic jams are like shit, and the education level there is different.

I've thought about it, and I see that it's a hard choice to make up, as I don't want to trouble my parents in terms of financial support. I mean, I do have a place to stay there, but the problem is, getting several items to support myself so I can continue my studies there like how I do here. Penang, is my home. Everything is provided here. Kuala Lumpur, on the other hand, is a little bit different.

Well, I'm thinking in terms of assignments, see?

But then again, financing myself isn't the only problem I'll be facing, but I'll have to do a couple of more sacrifices than ever.

The pros:
  • Probably get a better education there (And since the tweening to Murdoch University in Perth for majoring in Finance & Banking programme, I heard, is available - only in KL)
  • Better lifestyle (BY not having a mother who doesn't appreciate my results. Lol)
  • Yeah. Freedom, although I'll be staying in my father's apartment.
  • Friends..? Lol.
  • Musical exposure (HELLO BENTLEY'S!!! <3)
The cons:
  • High chance of different syllabus being taught due to transferring.
  • Major shopping spree needed (Laptops, anyone?)
  • Chances are high in leaving Panic Overdrive
  • Recordings for FDM.. SHOULD be a little bit harder. Lol
  • .. Well, leaving practically everything in Penang..

Besides, I believe that I'm sick of living under this roof at times. I don't think I'm pretty much appreciated here..

What would've been easier? Studying in KL from the very start.

Kids, never think that going with the flow works at all times. I pretty much regret now.

How, guys? I need some personal feedbacks..

Blog EntryLaptop Bluetooth Help.Mar 5, '07 1:06 PM
for everyone
Mood: -_-
Listening To: Nothing

Since I'm bored out of my mind at the moment - which haven't led me to study for the past 2 hours since my last journal - I decided to check on the bluetooth device that was affected by the Trojan Horse incident that affected my precious external hard disk drive last Christmas, Yung Shen's notebook HDD during October last year, my thumbdrive, my 6230i's memory card, 5 of my mum's memory cards, Freddie's mp3 player, and this laptop's main disk drive.

All caused from one source so far.  The computer in Studio B at Hits Studios -_-..

Well, this laptop I'm using, stays as one of the carriers of the virus itself.  The only way to get rid of it is to reformat the laptop.  I'm no computer wizard in this, and I wouldn't dare since my brother mentioned the terms of official registered hardware and all that junk.

.. I don't know.

Anyways, I'm not sure how laptop works, but this laptop comes with a built in Bluetooth device.  I was wondering if you all would know how to activate it forcefully via MS-Dos or the GUI in Windows?  I need to back my files up from my phone and Trojan Horse has somewhat affected the bluetooth device to not show itself anywhere on the laptop (and crashes every time when you access the place to explore the bluetooth devices connected to this laptop).

.. Uh.

Help?

Or maybe I'll get a seperate Bluetooth USB dongle after college tomorrow.. :S
