After a day's of hard work of constant uploading, it FINALLY works!

anyways, this is the song I was recording for 7 hours with all of that layering.. Of course by the time I wanted to record the solos, I ran out of energy and I honestly wanted to complete the song. So that would explain the last chorus' messy solos ..

1st and 3rd solo composed by Ying Kit .. well, part of it la.. 1st one is mostly what i can remember..3rd solo would be the starting of it and the end of it.. haha.

2nd solo ... is.. :) .. VAN HALENNNNNNNNNNNN HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

And the sound for the lead guitars is so clear and sharp.. I like it.. Should've cut down on the gain and played harder for rhythm so it didn't peak too easily (like the lead guitars)

anyways, mixing is a bit messy cos .. well, i was half stim and i'm no sound engineer.. haha

I know it's illegal to distribute copyrighted music and all, but here's a song that I feel whenever I listen to it.

It's an instrumental piece by none other but Joe Satriani. If you checked out Super Colossal, he wrote that this song was written one day right after the 9/11 incident that took place back in 2001. He discontinued writing this song because it was too heartbreaking to write because of whatever that has happened.

This song isn't exactly that technical but it's really comfortable to listen to when you want to kick back and relax.

So, here you go. One out of 13 songs in Satriani's latest album that came out last year, where the song is called Ten Words.

Joshua was asking me regarding sound engineering; the basic stuff, so I gave him a crash course.

In between of this online lecture, came 6 recording samples.. About mixing and about how some songs should sound like via recording processes.

This song is called Better Than This..For those who watched us play, this is the emo slow rock ballad song we would play usually in the middle of our set .. And probably a sample of what's to come if Six String Samurais ever release an album.. :)

Yep. I was pretty much bored from Microeconomics, so I decided to test something.. Importing the original Transformers The Movie which was released on the 8th August 1986.. Not the one a few weeks ago, so if you think these clips are boring, you probably missed out this.

.. And probably some proof to some idiots out there that some quotes from Optimus Prime already existed way before they were even born.

And no, I'm not that crazy enough to put some of these voice clips as ringtones just.. yet. Lol

Anyways, feel free to spread these around.. Consists some classic humour between Starscream, how he betrayed and wanted to get rid of Megatron so he could become the leader of the Decepticons in the movie, and all that.. Was watching the movie halfway, anyways..lol

And I can't believe that some people didn't know that Optimus Prime died in the movie.. lol

I wanna watch the ghost of starscream.. XD

Then again..watching Transformers made me realise what real voice acting talent is really is.. Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, Slugslinger and Ironhide..Frank Welker as Megatron and Soundwave... Gah..totally different voices.. @_@
