So I have nothing else better to do but to drop another journal entry.

Hmmm.

I just re-strung the Ibanez with Ernie Ball 0.09 gauge set.. I must say, I already miss D'Addario. For rhythm, Ernie Ball sounds a lot much more.. Heavier.. I can't seem to put my finger onto it.. But D'Addario would stand out when it comes to melodic solos..

Gah. I should've went somewhere else to get my D'Addario set.. I was just converted to a D'Addario user after meeting up with Chiat in a Shell petrol station on one fine afternoon last month. He said that D'Addario has longer life, better sound, and yeah, I pretty much agree.

Lucky thing that I needed to get them Wes Borland entry passes, and I was pretty much desperate for a new set of strings. Just so happen that they only had 0.10 and 0.08 gauges for D'Addario -_-.

Sigh.

I'll get D'Addario next month.










Anyways, line up! For Panic Overdrive, we will be performing twice this month. Once in Church Street Cafe on the 18th of March, and KL once again on the 24th of March. If you all are interested, please do check my calender for more information - AFTER I post it up, as Moe hasn't filled me in on the details, specifically.

I remember telling Joyce saying that this gig would be a private function dinner sort of thing, but it's the total opposite. I think if I'm not mistaken, it's some anti-Dadah campaign, and a semi-charity gig along with some ex-Akademi Fantasia candidates.. So if you all are free (and if it's close by to your place), give us full support!!!! support the lovely little children who are suffering from unwanted diseases.

Besides that, I came up with a nice riff to end the new song I'm working on - Fragments of Beliefs. I must say that this song has a very strong Joe Satriani/John Pettruci influence. Of course, not the speedy works, but most probably the concept and theories? I think it's nowhere near Steve Vai, but I'll try to work on that.. Haha?

Ironic, if you ask me. I have the first verse, break, 2nd verse, 2nd break and the outro planned out, but I haven't finished composing the whole song, and I already ame up with the bloody last riff. Lol

Right now, as I'm typing this journal, words can not explain what passes my mind. Music, music, and more music. Too many topics related to music, hitting me at the same time, causing me not able to focus on what I truly want to achieve, and write.. So.. Rojak, dammit.










Oh. I dropped by Guardians just now at Autocity, and got myself this temporary dye hair gel. Flaming Red.. It's what I wanted when I was in Form 3..

After my hair thickens up again since I layered it last Friday, I might consider to dye my hair for the first time.. I doubt it'll happen once I know of the price, anyways.

Flame Red, eh..? Hard to look for a nice bloody red colour for the hair.. Hmmm..










I remember that my hair was green back in 2004. LOL.
