Mood: Tired
Listening To: Dead SilenceWell, this is kind of freaky. I got back home, and unlike the usual sight, I see nobody. Worse still, the Camry is missing and I'm not the one driving! I swear!
Oh well. I left for KL this morning at 8am, and we were just in time for the bus. When Moe and I took our seats, the bus already departed. We were pretty lucky, I suppose.
Both of us were the only dudes dressed up semi-formally, but not having the button all the way up to the collar, and we had our ties down, and well, eyes were on us. Of course, Moe liked the attention, but I don't know about me. XD
Arrived in KL about 12.30pm. We were way ahead of schedule. And there we go. Two jackasses from Panic Overdrive trying to get from Pudu to Petaling Street. When he re-read the SMS about the place we were supposed to go was Taman Budaya near Petaling Street, had to inform Moe that Petaling Street's not that far away from Pudu.
... But we forgot routes, so we spent some time searching for Petaling Street after our lunch.
Of course, we didn't know that we were around that area after eating at the McDonalds outlet closest to Petaling Street. Wahahahahahahaha..
So, we met a few rude people who didn't want to entertain us with directions unless if we bought their
fuck movies for RM5 or something, but we made it through, after raiding an innocent botique shop, of course. And both of us knew jackshit about Cantonese and well, the girl was asking us..
"Jalan pin toe?"
"No no, man.. Jalan H.S. Leng.. Not Jalan Pin-Toe.."
.. Right.
Anyways, we met up with Alan from DeathStar Productions, and it's about time for me to be aware with whatever I'm doing. The thing now is that Panic Overdrive (especially Moe) is trying to get a contract with Deathstar Productions through Alan in terms of recording and all. So, I'm giving in my best to actually push Panic Overdrive to dream Moe has. This whole trip made me learn a little bit more that nothing's practically impossible for music - as long as you've got connections with people.
And no, it's not the XFresh radio interview thing that I was talking about. That wasn't today. Today's a press release for the Penang band, Paku. Got briefed about their success (or soon-to-be success), and their future performances in the UK and Paris. Pretty amazing man. They're going to be playing for EPL and some other things. Really tired to blog at the moment.
I'm way too tired to type a little bit more, but I learnt lots of stuff through Moe about the band, his visions, and shared some problems. Well, he was there to hear me out about the whole Vanesa issue, and I'm thankful he was willing enough to lend his ears. He heard my point of views, and asked a couple of questions himself. I replied all of his questions without any.. problems?
Well, I'm down to a conclusion that Vanesa has pretty much grown apart of me. It's pretty weird? I don't know how to explain this, but I feel a lot much more better after talking to her for like, an hour or so? Just to catch up on old times, and learning about how she and this guy got together.
Not entirely depressed, or anything, but.. Yeah, I'm still human, y'know?
Well, I'm too tired to blog. I'm waiting for Paul at the moment. It has been a while since I last caught up with him, so I just gave him a call. Of course, I wouldn't have bothered him at this time of an hour, but the Camry's gone. -_-
Oh well.
Anyways, here's a short schedule of Panic Overdrive - clarified this time:
13th January - Church Street Cafe in
Penang. Opening perfomance for Paku, as they are releasing their single.
24th January - XFresh interview at 3pm to 4pm. Met up with the owner of XFresh, I think?
