I just checked out Steve Vai's official website - http://www.vai.com - for any updates.  But goddamn, his picture on the front page IS already an update!

Another VAVO guitar!!!  It's a double neck, but check it directly.  Both guitars are based on a hollow body (of some sort) because the top neck is a normal 6 string acoustic guitar.

While the bottom is an electric guitar!  Comes with the Floyd Rose system and..

It really makes me wonder, how is that possible for the guitar?  The Floyd Rose system is already darn heavy, and in terms of the tension/counter-tension for the strings, the whole thing will bloody snap if the wrong wood is being used for the body.

But.. Ugh.. I'm speechless..

That is one nice guitar.  Would want to have one.. It's the best of both worlds.. Except that I would toss away the acoustic strings and fix it with nylon strings.  LOL
