Listening To: Steve Vai - Die To Live
Now that my exams finished, I suppose I should have more time for music - I think. Anyways, last night, I was down with an infected eye, fever, flu and the urge to have Double Spicy Chicken McDeluxe. Buh.
But besides that, I was listening to one of Steve Vai's song - Die to Live. It's not your ordinary 4/4 tempo thing, and I've been listening to a lot of songs by Dream Theater that doesn't stick by the 4/4 rule either. Die to Live is a 5/4 tempo-based song, and I was thinking about this:
Why didn't I even bothered trying to do something like this?
An odd-numbered tempo would be something nice to mess around with. I just found out that FFX's To Zanarkand is a 3/4 tempo.
Maybe for the upcoming project, I should try on a 5/4 tempo thing? XD
