At the moment, a friend of mine tossed me a very odd project; but the sort of project that I was supposed to work with sooner or later. Especially when I kind-of-owe Ddie a number of beats 8-)
This is going to be one of those sentimental Mandarin songs. The ones which are draggy, emotional, but somewhat - nice.
But the problem rises when the sample draft recording is not based on a metronome. It makes everything harder as you don't know which part of the bars to insert chords, or whatsoever. Buh.
But then again, music is an expression of creativity. Although assumption is not exactly the best method to make music sound good, but you add in your own ideas to make the song sound good....
.. I don't know.. my mind's having a lot of ideas at the moment, but I'm way too tired to mouse-click them out onto Reason.. I wish I had a midi keyboard now.. gah.
